Project “caffelatte” – luxury apartment renovation in Italy

This high-end interior project takes us to the heart of the Piedmont region of northern Italy. For her “caffelatte” project, Italian interior designer and architect Carola Ribotta turned a city apartment into a luxurious, contemporary space full of intricate details and eye-catching wall designs using a carefully curated selection of NOËL & MARQUET design elements. With the contrast of light walls and warm brown accents inspiring the project’s name, discover how our wall panels and wall tiles infuse a resolutely modern touch and redefine the space’s textures and overall personality.

Living area

Stepping into the spacious living area, one immediately notices its multifunctionality. To the left is the main dining area. A space where guests, friends and family come together and share meals in style. Working silently yet effectively in the background are the CANELÉ L wall panels. Painted in the same light colour as the rest of the room, the panels bring a modern, refined texture to the partition without cluttering the wall décor.

To the right, in the sitting area, the back partition wall is decorated with an almost artistic constellation of NOËL & MARQUET wall tiles. As a result, this wall becomes the room’s true statement piece and main focal point. The CURVE and PUZZLE elements work together in perfect harmony to create a strong and resolutely modern eye-catcher. On the TV wall, the CANELÉ L panel ads, again, more discrete yet precious decorative texture.

Kitchen and small dining room

Moving to the back rooms, where the meals are prepared, these functional spaces have been designed in warm and comforting brown tones. The lengths of these “twin” rooms have been covered with the CANELÉ L panel which provides a vibrant elegance and a refreshing, modern decorative twist.

Master bedroom

Finally, the master bedroom. The characteristic, linear theme of the CANELÉ L wall panel perseveres and defines the back wall, wrapping the space in its quiet elegance. Just like in the other rooms of the apartment, the CANELÉ was used to give character and to enhance the bedroom’s design and aesthetic appeal. Here, the panels were spaced, giving the room rhythmic, intriguing and dynamic architectural qualities.
